Sayat Nova. Acoustics and Graphics. This is a unique Pop-up project, which includes a one-day exhibition, a concert and an art performance. The creators of the project are musician and singer Narek Gevorgyan and artist and actress Nana Tatishvili. Based on the creative heritage of the legendary poet and ashug Sayat Nova, the authors boldly and unconventionally experiment with genres and artistic instruments. Music of the late Middle Ages sounds arranged for Spanish cajon, flamenco guitar and bass. And the visual art of the evening is made in the technique of Japanese calligraphy. The mixture of cultures and genres is surprisingly in tune with the work of the poet Sayat Nova himself, who wrote fluently in five languages. In the program: Exhibition of graphic works by the artist Nana Tatishvili.
Performance: Creation of real-time graphics with a Capella singing
NAREK. Acoustic concert of ethnic Armenian music. The project will perform folk songs of the late Middle Ages, as well as the works of Sayat-Nova.
